THE TEAM BEHIND OUR TEAMS

The Sandwich Sports Boosters are a nonprofit, all-volunteer club supporting every sport and every student-athlete at Sandwich High School. We're parents, grandparents, neighbors and local businesses — nobody here draws a paycheck, and every dollar raised goes back to SHS athletics.

The work is split across eight volunteer committees — Sponsorship, Events, Membership, Fair Booth, Scholarship, Concessions, Communication and Parent Reps. They run our Poker Night, the Block Party we throw with the SHS Football Team, the Junior Class and SYTF, and the booth we staff all week at the Sandwich Fair.

That money comes straight back as equipment. A $40,000 digital projector system for the Main Gym. Wrestling mats, a baseball backstop cage, a softball pitching machine, a volleyball netting system, gym banners, and $3,760 of new sideline chairs. We fund scholarships for graduating student-athletes, and we provide the Sportsmanship award for every sport at SHS.

Since 2023 that adds up to more than $115,000 back into Sandwich High School athletics — over $79,000 of it since May 2024 alone. Every board seat is filled by a volunteer, and there's always room for another one.
